With the frequent and more frequent seismic activity under Katla, why isnt this
in the news, as a type of stand by warning? Are they going to wait until Katla
explodes and let the people be surprized as if no one knew? Do they not know
    what happened the last time?

    • The people on Iceland know. They have a long history. Iceland has 18 volcanoes and was made from erupting lava over time. The locals have a 20 minute evacuation plan which they have trained. The air lines have forewarning of differing flight routes. The only thing we are not in control of is the effect of the ashes in the atmosphere. Yes, people know, what it was like, but no, there is nothing they are going to do about it.

    • It’s all over the news now! It just took some time to get there. The main stream media doe’s not want to pick up such serious matter, unless it can’t be hidden anymore. The truth seems to be too hurtful.

Its pretty obvious that the quakes where not at katla,
katla is more right, the quakes are left and from the eruption at eyjafjalla
